Tapas taste great anywhere, but there is a special delight to enjoying them under the sun or stars. We are so excited that it will soon be warm enough to take our tapas back outside that we’re throwing a party to celebrate the opening of the Taberna patio.

We invite you to join us for free samples of paella, fresh from the giant olla, all afternoon. Come by for a quick bite or stay into the night to hear the Nacha Mendez duo live on the patio.

May 22nd – 26th

The first annual World Sherry Day has been declared, and La Boca and Taberna are eager participants. We are celebrating with a whole week of events, culminating with the Fiesta de Andalucia, a day of celebrating food, sherry, and Flamenco! See below for details on all the events, and check out Chef James’s blog on Jerez to learn how sherry is made, the different varieties, and how to pair it with food.

May 22 ~ Sherry seminar and tasting with Chef James at Taberna, 4pm
& 5-course sherry tasting menu , at both restaurants

May 23 ~ 3-course tapas and sherry pairing at La Boca

May 24 ~ Sherry cocktail happy hour at Taberna on the patio from 4-6pm

May 25 ~ 3-course sherry and tapas pairing at Taberna

May 26 ~ Fiesta de Andalucia, a festival of tapas, sherry and flamenco all day from noon until 6 pm, followed by a flamenco dinner show at 9pm.
